A day to discuss the future of food and wine tourism

Castel del Piano is a custodian and bearer of human resources, environmental and cultural assets and an important food and wine heritage with great expansive potential.
"The objective of the Municipality - says Cinzia Pieraccini mayor of Castel del Piano - is to give shape and concreteness to a process of valorization that, starting from the local quality product, knows how to promote Castel del Piano at national and international level. We have confidence in what we are and have, in the capabilities of agricultural enterprises and in the values present in our land.
The meeting on 6 June is a first step towards involving the productive economic system and the population as a whole."
The day of comparison will be introduced by a contribution of Leonardo Marras, regional councillor for tourism and economic development, to which will follow interventions and reflections of Marina Lauri si Anci Toscana, of some local entrepreneurs and Roberta Garibaldi president of the Italian association Turismo enogastronomico,
After the break with a light lunch organized by Vetrina Toscana in the afternoon, three tables will be opened on Climate change and prospects for development of mountain viticulture;
Innovation in the olive sector, Amiatina olive growing and PDO Seggiano, Slow tourism experiences: itineraries and food and wine routes,
