On Saturday 25 July, at 7.00 pm, Mario Patella’s skies meet Riccardo Licata’s signs.
“Venice, Signs of Memory” is the latest instalment of the Summer Dialogues at the Gallery: Mario Patella and Riccardo Licata, two artists with links to Venetian culture, are brought together in the same room.
Patella works on skies: no human figures, just the vastness of light and space, using hand-prepared pigments and canvases he has prepared himself.
Licata has traversed Venice and Paris with a language that does not narrate, but writes, using an alphabet of imaginary letters born of the rhythm of music.
On Saturday 25 July at 7.00 pm, there will be a presentation of the works, followed by a welcome drink.
The exhibition will then remain open until 30 July, with free admission.
