Salaiola – Exhibition by Mary Ternovsky dedicated to Tuscan landscapes

On Sunday 9 August, at 5.00 pm, the artist will give a talk entitled ‘Fields of Energy – Tuscan Landscapes’. The talk, lasting approximately 45 minutes, will explore the principles of feng shui and the psychological effects of visual space and art, drawing on Ternovsky’s experience as a painter, psychotherapist and EMDR specialist.

The talk will be held in English with Italian translation.

Until 20 August 2026, the Church of Saints Francesco and Carlo in Salaiola di Arcidosso is hosting an exhibition by the American artist Mary Ternovsky, an author and qualified psychotherapist, internationally renowned for her work exploring the relationship between art, perception and wellbeing.

Working primarily in oil on canvas, Ternovsky creates landscapes and still lifes inspired by Tuscany. Her works stem from an exploration of how colour, composition and visual environments can influence emotional state, attention and the perception of space.

The event is organised by the L’Aquilaia association as part of the cultural programme of Salaiola, Italy’s First Nature Village.
