An opportunity to get to know the local area through exploratory walks, games, exercises and educational theatre activities, led by qualified educators and nature guides.

The starting point will be Piazza Garibaldi at 9.00 am.

On the ‘Via degli antenati’ (Path of the Ancestors), with stories about the people and events of Santa Fiora and Monte Amiata.

16 July

A circular walk around Monte Labbro, from the Arcidosso Wildlife Park to the summit of the ‘Sacred Mountain’, linked to the figure of Davide Lazzaretti.

23 July

‘A Treasure Trove of Stories’, discovering the miner’s trade and the mining trail leading to the Mercury Mining Museum.

After each walk, there will be time to relax in the cool of the day, a snack, educational theatre activities and a packed lunch.

Cost per day: 25 euros.

A 10% discount is available for those who take part in all sessions and pay in advance.

Any admission fees: Mercury Mining Museum 1 euro; Arcidosso Wildlife Park 3.50 euros.
