The cultural association Polis 2001, as part of the Civitas 2031 project, is promoting the first edition of the “Mobile Festival for Girls and Boys,” an initiative dedicated to reading, imagination, and discovering the cultural heritage of the city of Grosseto.

The event will take place on Saturday, September 12, in the heart of the city, with a program designed to engage families and highlight Maremma as "an open book."

Day’s Program:
4:00 PM – Fairy Tales and Stories
Animated readings and storytelling in Piazza San Francesco and the Archaeological Garden.

5:15 PM – Walk to Piazza Dante
A collective walk along Corso Carducci, accompanied by the city band, arriving in Piazza Dante for a short concert dedicated to the little ones.

5:45 PM – Book Distribution
Giving books to the girls and boys present.

6:00 PM – Commemorative Medals Ceremony
Distribution of commemorative medals for the first edition of the Mobile Festival.

6:30 PM – Final Round Dance
Big round dance in Piazza Dante, a symbol of sharing and friendship.

The event aims to promote reading as a tool for growth and connection, turning the historic center of Grosseto into a big storytelling space, where every square becomes a page and every child becomes the protagonist of a story.
