It all kicks off on Friday 24th with dinner in Piazza Barbana from 8.00 pm… later in the evening, at around 9.00 pm, Don Papa will take to the stage with their live rock set.
On Saturday 25th, from 7.30 pm, the restaurant stalls will open at the former primary school in Via Centrale Nuova. From 9 pm, the music programme will begin in Piazza Barbana with the first part of Samuel B’s DJ set.
From 10.30 pm, 883 Mania, a tribute band to Max Pezzali’s band, will take to the stage for their show.
Following this, and to round off the evening, Samuel B will return to spin records for the second part of his DJ set.
Sunday 26th gets underway in the morning… from 9.00 am in Piazza Barbana, there will be the chance to enjoy two fascinating events…
For trekking enthusiasts, in collaboration with La Murciaiola APS, a hike will be organised along the ‘L’anello dei fontanili’ route, approximately 7 km long and of medium difficulty, with dogs allowed on a lead.
For motorbike enthusiasts, the ‘Motogiro dello Strozzaprete’ returns for its 9th edition: a scenic tour on two wheels with a stop for an aperitif along the way.
Both events include, in addition to breakfast and a participation gift, the option of lunch at the festival restaurant, featuring a set menu at a special rate.
The festival restaurant will open at 12 noon.
From 6.00 pm in the square in front of the Church of San Domenico, as part of the celebrations marking the centenary of its foundation, the Gioacchino Rossini Band of Murci will give a concert.
From 7.30 pm, the festival restaurant will reopen.
From 9.30 pm, there will be music in Piazza Barbana with Noise Therapy, bringing this year’s programme to a close.
We would also like to emphasise that this year’s event is held under the patronage of Scansano Town Council and that admission to all concerts and DJ sets is completely free of charge.
