On Sunday 9 August, Gavorrano takes a trip down memory lane! We look forward to welcoming you to experience the 33rd edition of one of the Maremma’s most fascinating historical re-enactments.

THE DAY’S PROGRAMME
From 6.00 pm – Grand Procession and Re-enactment
Parade featuring the Historical Processions of Scarlino, Batignano, Gavorrano and the Tolomei and Pannocchieschi districts
Performance by the Musicians of Gavorrano and the Arezzo Flag-Wavers’ Association
Tribute to the Palio, painted by the children of Gavorrano’s nursery school
Official presentation of the municipal banner to the Captain of the People

7.00 pm and 9.30 pm
Spectacular performance by the Arezzo Flag-Wavers
Followed by – In Piazza del Comune
Theatrical performance of the ‘Salto della Contessa’: ‘L’Ombra della Pietra’ in a truly magical atmosphere.
