From 2 July to 20 August, one of the most eagerly awaited events of the summer in Castiglione returns. Set against the unique backdrop of the Casa Rossa Ximenes, in the heart of the Diaccia Botrona Nature Reserve, the sixth edition of “Note al Chiaro di Luna – Sulle orme di Carlo Fruttero” gets underway – a music festival organised by Agimus Grosseto in collaboration with Castiglione della Pescaia Town Council and under the artistic direction of Maestro Gloria Mazzi.

Twelve concerts will entertain audiences on summer evenings between July and August, offering a rich programme ranging from classical music to jazz, from swing to tango, and including singer-songwriter music. An artistic journey designed to showcase the cultural and environmental heritage of the area, whilst offering opportunities for quality entertainment in an exceptional setting.

The 2026 edition will be dedicated to Carlo Fruttero, an honorary citizen of Castiglione della Pescaia, to mark the centenary of his birth. A tribute to one of the most important figures in Italian literature, who had deep ties to our region.

To ensure everyone can enjoy the concerts in complete peace of mind, the free shuttle service from the centre of Castiglione della Pescaia to the Casa Rossa Ximenes will once again be available (INFO BELOW!)


All performances will begin at 9.15 pm. Admission to the museum is 8 euros and attendance is by booking only, subject to availability.
