From 3.30 pm: Open Day at the archaeological excavations currently taking place in the Park in the areas known as ‘Horreum’ and ‘Nord’. Visitors will therefore be able to enter free of charge and find out more about the work being carried out by the team led by Dr Maximilian Rönnberg of the University of Freiburg, as part of the Cosa Excavations Project, which forms part of the three-year excavation licence granted to Prof. Andrea De Giorgi of Florida State University.

Saturday 19 September

At 11.00: Opening of the exhibition *Ogni Cosa Intatta*, Hypermaremma’s new exhibition project, curated by Giulia Tentellini and Chiara Serranti, marking the final stage of the *Hyperesidencies I* programme, the result of a six-month residency involving four artists and two curators. The exhibition brings together works by Iva Drekalovic, Wang Yuxiang, Maria Ludovica Gugliotta and Marie Hervé, creating an itinerary that intertwines contemporary art, archaeology and landscape.

Special evening opening from 6.00 pm to 10.00 pm

At 6.00 pm: Free guided tour of the entire archaeological site, led by staff from the Ministry of Culture.

At 7.00 pm: Lecture ‘Cosa and the Sea: The Ports of Cos and the Trade Routes of the Ancient Tyrrhenian Sea’, by archaeologist Claudio Calastri, who will explore the trade relations within the ancient Roman colony and the various activities linked to the sea, such as fishing and fish farming.

At 8.00 pm, an aperitif in the archaeological site.
