On the first Sunday of April, day 6, we are waiting for you at #saturnia, to walk together again along an archaeological route structured in the historic center that constitutes a real open-air museum: the Urban Museum of Saturnia.
🏺But there are many archaeological areas in the immediate vicinity of the inhabited center, little known, also because placed in private property, that deserve to be valued, known and inserted in the path. This is the project that the Municipality of Manciano has recently been working on, and which will be presented during the archaeological walk that, starting from Piazza Vittorio Veneto in Saturnia, once the centre of the Roman city, will take place in some of the surrounding necropolis areas, concluding with the necropolis of Puntone, currently the only one actually known and open to tourism.
