Mauro Staccioli’s exhibition presents a concise retrospective featuring twenty-two works, including sculptures and drawings. Four of these monumental pieces are positioned at the four corners of the star-shaped ramparts, upon which the imposing hexagonal structure of the fort stands. Inside the six triangular rooms, the remaining fourteen sculptures and four drawings are displayed in chronological order, essentially covering the entire span of Staccioli’s work from 1971 to 2016.

The exhibition dedicated to Mauro Staccioli at Forte Stella in Porto Ercole, promoted and supported by the Municipality of Monte Argentario and the Argentario Mobilità & Ambiente Special Agency, has been organised with the scientific contribution of the Mauro Staccioli Archive.
